Carl-Martin, The PhD
This is Carl-Martin, Gimi's one and only PhD. He left the Karolinska institute and his postdoctoral research to join us. Previously, he worked at health care startup KRY, as a licensed psychologist. Impressive!

What is your main task at Gimi
I will be heading up research around financial literacy among children, and making sure that Gimi becomes a global thought leader on the topic.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
From an early age I wanted to be psychologist, physician, police officer or pilot, basically I wanted to help people.
What drew you to Gimi?
I'm intrigued by the blend of big data, behavioural economics and start-up spirit. And my first impression of the people working there was… guess what? Great!
What song puts you in a good mood?
Most songs does that..
What is your favourite thing about computers?
They have on-and-off switch!
What is in your bag?
My training gear, charger, waterproof jacket and my computer.
A fun fact about you?
I really enjoy baking pastries and cakes, and trying to do it vegan friendly and gluten-free.
