Gimi is on a mission to Educate 10M children in personal finance by 2025. Our app has over 1M downloads and is used by tens of thousand parents and children each month. Gimi is looking for a full-time Data Analyst that can help us drive data-informed decision making across the business. You’ll join and be part of starting up our analytics team, reporting to our Head of Data analytics.
The core of the role will be to working with our product team. You will use insights and analysis to guide product decision making, and help the team create a great financial education experience that parents and children love to use. Work includes improving retention and adoption of features, creating a better understanding of how parent and children manage money, and evaluating the learning impact of different features.
In addition, expect to support other teams with their analytics needs, such as management, marketing and sales teams.
The role is hands-on, expect to write SQL, build reports/dashboards in Mixpanel, and perform validation data quality as part of your tasks.
Guide and improve decision making across the business with insights and data analysis, and drive a data-informed decision making approach to business problems
Help teams to follow-up on their progress by helping them to define, validate and reporting on metrics
Improve our data quality and data collection, including working with our engineering teams to adress problems and come up with improvements
Communicate insights and learnings across the company to influence product and business decisions
Must haves (qualifications)
Be a collaborative team player
A few years experience with data analytics, data science or similar
Technical skills required to work with large data sets (Pandas / R) and databases (SQL)
Strong business sense and analytical thinking
Great communication skills
Nice to haves
Experience with product analytics tools like Mixpanel
Previous experience with mobile apps
Previous experience with educational experiences
Data engineering / automation experience
