Sales Manager - Bank Partnerships (Stockholm Office)

Gimi is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to create and close new partnerships with banks across Europe.
Until today, Gimi has partnered with leading banks such as Nordea Bank, ABN AMRO and ICA Banken. We have a growing number of inbound and also identified an accelerated need for banks across Europe that want to find and implement new mobile banking solutions for the younger segment. That is why we need a new person to join our commercial team at Gimi.
You will be reporting directly to the CSO and be a core part of the commercial team at Gimi, including both new and existing partnerships.
Your Role as Sales Manager - New Bank Partnerships
1. Prospecting & Lead generation: Identify potential customers through networking, cold calling, inbound inquiries, event execution and referrals. This is one of your main tasks.
2. Customer Engagement: Develop relationships with primarily new but also existing clients, understanding their needs and pain points.
3. Sales Reporting: Track sales activities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
4. Product Presentations: Conduct demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Gimi and contribute in developing sales material and content.
5. Closing deals: Coordinate and handle the sales cycle from start to finish. But, you will benefit from a negotiation and closing team to help achieve sales target.
6. Customer Upsell: Upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing customers where applicable.
7. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and partnership teams to achieve mutual targets, exchange learnings and support executional activities.
What We’re Looking For
Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interactions.
Sales acumen: Strong proficiency in prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals.
Resilience & Persistence: Comfort with rejection and determination to achieve sales targets.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools and preferably AI-powered sales tools
Problem-Solving: Ability to address client objections and offer tailored solutions.
Self-Motivation: A goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
5+ years of sales experience with large and enterprise-size accounts within fintech, banking, or payments industries.
Fluent in both English and Swedish (additional languages are a plus).

In this role you need to be able to travel and use a hybrid sales approach (combine virtual and in-person meetings). You also need to master a customer-centric selling, data-driven argumentation and emotional sales tactics.
