International Sales Manager - Bank Partnerships (Remote)

We are expanding across Europe and are looking for Sales managers that know the local market, strong existing industry network and a proven ability to generate new business.
Until today, Gimi has partnered with leading banks such as Nordea Bank, ABN AMRO and ICA Banken. We have a growing number of inbound and also identified an accelerated need for banks across Europe that want to find and implement new mobile banking solutions for the younger segment. Therefore, we are looking to hire one or several Territorial Sales Managers to cover the European areas (such as CEE / DACH / IBERIA / UK etc.).
You will be reporting directly to the CSO and be a part of the commercial team at Gimi including both new and existing partnerships.
Your Role as International Sales Manager
- Prospecting & Lead generation: Identify potential customers through networking, cold calling, inbound inquiries, and referrals within your specified region.
- Customer Engagement: Develop relationships with primarily new but also existing clients, understanding their needs and pain points.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Product Presentations: Conduct demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of Gimi.
- Closing deals: Coordinate and handle the sales cycle from start to finish. But, you will benefit from a negotiation and closing team to help achieve sales target.
- Customer Upsell: Upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing customers where applicable.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
- PR and networking: Create brand awareness for Gimi in your region through conference and event attendance and potentially marketing efforts to make sure Gimi stays ahead of competition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and partnership teams to achieve mutual targets, exchange learnings and support executional activities.
Must haves
- 5+ years of sales experience with large and enterprise-size accounts within fintech, banking, or payments industries.
- Strong local network within the banking industry.
- Fluent in both English and local language (additional languages are a plus).
What We’re Looking For
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interactions.
- Sales Acumen; Proficiency in end to end prospecting from lead qualification, via relationship building to negotiation and closing.
- Resilience & Persistence: Comfortable with long sales cycles and complicated commercial negotiations with determination to achieve sales targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools and preferably AI-powered sales tools.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address client objections and offer tailored solutions.
- Self-Motivation: A goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
In this role you need to be able to travel and use a hybrid sales approach (combine virtual and in-person meetings). You also need to master customer-centric selling, data-driven argumentation and emotional sales tactics.
